The pictures above were taken on January 4, 5, and 6th, 2006. Looks like it's gonna be a good photo-opp year!
Fall and Winter seem to be the best times to photograph clouds.
We were lucky enough to get this picture of the shadow of a jet's contrail while in the North Carolina mountains in November, 2003.
