Questions

A new bird is singing outside my

window each morning.

Is it you?

The moonlight gently caresses

my face through the night.

Is it you?

There’s a warmth by my side,

a voice in the distance

a glimmer of movement

from the corner of my eye

I see in passing.

Are you here?

To have one more

glimpse of your face,

one more touch of your hand,

one more hug…

what I would give for just

one more.

It’s been two years

so you would think I would

go on living without the pain.

It deepens as the seasons change.

Have I said goodbye?

Have I even begun?

I miss your voice

I want to call you

 every day,

tell you all the things

that are new in our lives.

Do you already know?

Is it beautiful where you are?

Are you surrounded with love?

Do you miss me?

Can you see me?

Do you know everything now?

Is it you?
