IN HONOR OF MY MOTHER

Betty Connor Dozier

Our precious mother passed from this life to the next on February 22, 2008.  We miss her more than words can say.  She will continue to be a part of our lives every minute of every day as her love surrounds us.

Courage takes many forms.  There is physical courage,
there is moral courage.  Then there is a still higher type of
courage--the courage to brave pain, to live with it, to
never let others know of it and to still find joy in life; to wake
up in the morning with an enthusiasm for the day ahead.

A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.--Tenneva Jordan

Message to my mother:

Mama, you told me recently that being your first born taught you how to be a mother.  You forgot to mention that you taught me how to be a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend and a loving human being.  Thank you.
